Catching up on professional reading, and saw this in the October 2007 issue of Information Outlook (the Special Libraries Association's publication.)

While most of the sites are U.S. government-run, there are other sites as well. According to the site, it is "designed to bring together the latest resources and sources on an ongoing basis from the Internet for statistics." There are almost 100 sites with statistics on health, population, transportation, economics, etc.
